summary from back of book

My Rating: 3.5/5

I was initially drawn to this book because of its amazing cover which I think is just awesome. Then, there is the summary which includes lip reading, drama, and Serena who just so happens to be deaf. I liked that Serena was different from many other teenaged protagonists in YA books and I found the summary intriguing so...why not read it? All in all, this was a very fun read, filled with drama and anticipation. A book is always interesting when it's crammed with secrets, drama and other occurrences which you hope you never have to personally encounter but which make for amusing entertainment.

I liked Serena and I appreciated how she never changed who she was as a person throughout the course of the novel, not even when she began hanging out with people whom she previously had never associated with. There's some romance in this as well with the quiet yet somewhat distant/mysterious Miller. If you're looking for something that's both fun, quick and entertaining to read, this would be it.
