Celeste Tippen can't imagine a more perfect summer. Her boyfriend, Travis, has a job at her family's resort, which means lots of quality couple time. Unfortunately, she forgot about Nick Saunders, the hot son of the resort's wealthiest customers. Every year, Nick flirts with Celeste, and apparently this year is no different, despite the boyfriend who's watching their every move. She assures Travis that hanging out with the resident bad boy is the last thing she wants to do. If only she believed that herself. . . .

summary from book

My Rating: 3/5

I'd always wanted to read a Hailey Abbott novel. I used to stare at her pretty book covers every time I passed the YA section in a book store. I finally gave in and picked up two of her books for my summer reading, figuring they looked cute and fun and fitting for a good summer read.

Flirting With Boys is just what I wanted it to be, fun, cute, and quick to flip through. The plot keeps you interested and intrigued until the very end. It is predictable in parts but that didn't really deter away from the overall story. I'm glad I picked up this book, it wholeheartedly served its purpose and kept me entertained from beginning to end.
