I am a HUGE fan of contemporary novels and everything that they have to offer. That's why I think Reggie's 2011 Young Adult Contemporary Challenge is an amazing way to get others to pick up more contemporary YA novels throughout the year.
This challenge is hosted by Reggie of The Undercover Book Lover and the objective is to read a minimum of thirteen contemporary YA novels that are to be released in 2011. Sounds pretty easy right? I know a lot of you are reading machines (of which I am envious) and thirteen books is definitely an attainable goal and a great number to start you off with!
What are contemporary novels exactly? It's the genre wherein the events can happen in real life at the present time. The characters in the novel can be present in real life.
